A night celebrating Lipscomb Honors inaugural recipients: Lori Bumpas ('86), Executive Director of Shiloh NYC, and Mark Lanier ('81), Founder of The Lanier Law Firm. The evening also features special guest songwriters Tim Nichols ("Live Like You Were Dying," "Heads Carolina, Tails California") and Mike Reid ("I Can't Make You Love Me," "There's a Stranger in My House"). 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. – Freshman Sunday Reunion, Granny White Church of Christ; Dr. Dennis Loyd ('58), elder at Granny White church, former dean of students and retired professor of English, will teach the 9 a.m. Sunday School class. Walt Leaver ('74), vice president for university relations and minister at Brentwood Hills Church of Christ, will preach at the 10 a.m. service.
